Helene Ann Square

Helene Ann Square, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Panama City, Florida, at the age of 82. Born on January 18, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, Helene was a vibrant presence who dedicated her life to her family, creating a warm and loving home that will be fondly remembered.

Helene was a devoted mother to her three children, John Square, Tracy Square Grey, and Philip Square, who, alongside his wife Marta Ramirez, cherish the memories they created with her. Her legacy is further carried on by her numerous grandchildren: Timothy Square Marshall, Anthony Square Marshall, Lindsey Grey, Harley Grey, Alejandra Ramirez, Andrea Moore, Jose’ Ramirez, Rebeca Kearse, Joseph Square, Jimmy Square, and Michael Square, as well as many great-grandchildren who brought joy to her heart.

A woman of many passions, Helene had an unwavering love for her family and an extraordinary fondness for cats, particularly her adored blue ribbon black cats. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she demonstrated exceptional skills in gardening, with the ability to grow a wide array of plants and flowers. This talent mirrored her nurturing nature, cultivating beauty and joy both indoors and out.

Helene is remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Square, as well as her parents, Charles and Mayme Hayer. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry forward her love and devotion.
