Lisa R. Sharpe

Lisa Marie Rosenvold Sharpe, a remarkable individual who dedicated more than 35 years of her life to serving the State of Florida, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, in Tallahassee, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on March 21, 1961, in Tampa Bay, Florida, Lisa lived a vibrant life committed to both her profession and family.

Throughout her career, she earned the admiration of her colleagues and friends. She fostered strong relationships with those she worked with, and her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on many. As her retirement approached in February 2024, she looked forward to enjoying the fruits of her labor, having devoted herself tirelessly to her work.

Above all, Lisa cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved son, Robert "Bo" Sharpe, and his wife, Tiffany Sharpe; her devoted daughter, Sarah Rose Sparks, and her husband, Sid Sparks; and her six cherished grandchildren: Tyler, Bryce, Madelyn "Maddie," Caden, Emily, and Ava. Lisa's family was the focal point of her happiness, and she took great joy in every moment spent with them.

Lisa is also survived by her sister, Judith "Judy" Rosenvold, who shared many memories and moments of laughter with her throughout their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Charles Rosenvold and Mary Louise Allen Rosenvold, and her little sister, Julia Karen Rosenvold. The love and lessons they imparted to Lisa shaped the compassionate woman she became.

A memorial honoring Lisa's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at St. John's Episcopal Church on North Monroe St. in Tallahassee with a reception to follow. As we remember Lisa, we celebrate her legacy of love, friendship, and dedication—a true testament to a life well-lived. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
